You need a voter card in various places. If you lose your voter card, the first thing you need to do is lodge a complaint at the nearest police station.

Dear Sir,

I write to inform you of the loss of My School Bag, in that Bag I lost my file which contains a few important documents along with my Voter card on 23rd March 2022. My school bag has been stolen from the bus when I was returning from school. It was a 4 p.m. bus left from the Sealdah bus stop with the number WB 268R***4. I went to buy some food from the nearest stationery shop keeping the bag in my seat.  As soon as I went back I saw that my bag is absent.
