ABOUT A TREE PLANTATION PROGRAMME

Sir,
We, the students of your school, seek your kind permission to hold a tree plantation programme in the ground of our school on 7th July, 2003, the foundation day. We have already discussed the matter with some of our teachers and they have suggested that we procure plants from Barasat Municipality free of cost. The newly planted seedlings would not only be beneficial to the environment as a whole but at the same time make the campus beautiful.
We request you to kindly inaugurate the programme and to arrange a seminar on the effect of tree-plantation on the environment to enlighten us about it as a part of the programme on the same day. Thanking you,
